**03/2018 Just F.Y.I. Some of the package backing from Sarah Tom ClassicRuff Backpack for dogs show a size chart of Small 5" Medium 7" Large 9" instead of
the previous package backing of Xsmall 5" Small 7" Medium 9". We are not sure if they are changing size description or if it a printing error.
We decided to display the Original Size/products size in inches (xsmall=5' length backpack, small=7" length backpack, medium=9" length backpack). Thank you**

Tips for a good fit and a fun experience with your new ClassyRuff Backpack

1. Slip neck portion over dog’s head.
2. Buckle straps to underbelly piece behind front legs and adjust to a snug fit so that the backpack does not move from side to side.
3. Reward your dog with a treat after you put the pack on.
4. At first, have your dog wear the pack for only a couple of minutes.
5. Reward your dog for wearing the pack by treating them BEFORE you remove it.
6. Repeat the above steps as needed until your dog is comfortable wearing the pack.

IMPORTANT Do not place items in the ClassyRuff Backpack until your dog is comfortable wearing and walking with an empty pack.

FOR EXTENDED WALKS OR HIKES, gradually add items to the pack over a period of days to allow your dog to adjust to the added weight and to build up his muscles to support the extra load on his back.
